ALBA Braunschweig GmbH: Bio-filter lids ready for use
The bio waste bins with odor-proof bio filter lid are ready for the citizens at ALBA in Braunschweig. For a small monthly fee of € 1.19, ALBA Braunschweig GmbH provides citizens with a new bio garbage can with a filter lid, putting an end to stench and maggots. The replacement filter is then automatically available every 2 years for citizens who have opted for a bio-filter lid. Field reports on the bio-filter lid: Landkreis Waldshut
The organic waste garbage can was introduced in the district of Waldshut in 2019 on a voluntary basis. From the beginning, the district council decided to equip the organic waste garbage cans with filter lids. Approximately 13,500 bio garbage cans were equipped with filters in the 60 and 120 l size and approximately 5,500 bio garbage cans in the 240 l size were equipped with filters.
