According to their statements, about 10% of the respondents now use the organic waste bin more frequently than before because of the bio-filter lid. This concerns 14 % of residents in apartment buildings in inner city areas and 7 % of residents in large apartment complexes. The proportion of organic waste bin non-users decreased overall to 1%. In apartment buildings, the bio bin is now used by all, although before the test, 4% of these households still stated that they never use the bio bin. The use of this bio-filter lid thus leads to an increase in acceptance of the organic waste bin to a certain extent.
